As a legal assistant at Wactor and Wick LLP, Carol serves as both the liaison between the environmental consultants and the clients and as the paralegal for the office. She assists both the transactional and litigation attorneys with, but not limited to: coordinating all facets of closing of real estate transactions from inception to completion, researching various aspects of environmental law and policy, preparing and filing litigation documents, managing consultant contracts and budgets, and interfacing with regulators regarding site status, general oversight, and organization of agency file documents.
With a Juris Doctor degree from John F. Kennedy University, Carol has an extensive knowledge of civil procedure, contract analysis, and the legal process. She maintains a thorough understanding of transactions and litigation involving environmental issues. She is also proficient in the various electronic filing systems in both federal and state court. Her strong written, oral communication and organizational skills are effective in interacting with courts and attorneys and satisfying the needs of clients.
Carol graduated from John F. Kennedy University (B.A. 1998) and John F. Kennedy Law School (J.D. 2002). Prior to embarking on a legal career, Carol managed the offices of various businesses in the Bay Area including a medical office and real estate development and construction firm for over 25 years.
